The parts I really liked were: "The force of that regret cannot be applied to the past, only to the future, when you'll do it better next time", his distillation of the phrase "it was meant to be" to "it is", and the assertion that rejection is kind of awesome because it means you're trying.
He asks for advice for people dealing with rejection. I would strongly urge them to read the Art of Fielding (which I love to death) and pay close attention to Mike Schwartz.
